Accused seeks bail for wedding attendance

One of the accused arrested in connection with the firing incident outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence has approached a court seeking temporary bail to attend his wedding scheduled later this week.

The accused, Ritik Yadav, filed a plea before a Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court requesting interim relief after he was remanded to judicial custody.

The application was submitted through his advocate Dilip Shukla before MCOCA court judge Satyanarayan Navandar.

According to the plea, Yadav’s marriage is scheduled to take place on March 11 in his hometown in Agra. He has sought temporary bail to attend the ceremony and perform the necessary rituals.

Yadav is among the 12 people arrested in the case related to the firing incident outside Shetty’s residence. The investigation into the matter is currently underway, and authorities are continuing to probe the involvement of the accused in the incident.

The court is expected to hear the plea and decide whether temporary bail will be granted for the wedding.
