IAAPI, ANAROCK Launch India IAC Whitepaper

Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI), in collaboration with ANAROCK, is set to launch the first-ever white paper dedicated to India’s Indoor Amusement Centre (IAC) industry. The report will be officially unveiled on March 11, 2026, during the 7th edition of IAC Connect in Mumbai.
This landmark publication marks the first comprehensive, data-driven study focused exclusively on the Indian IAC sector. Developed as part of a strategic knowledge partnership between IAAPI and ANAROCK, the white paper aims to provide a unified industry roadmap by aligning the perspectives of operators, developers, consumers, and government stakeholders.
The report explores key structural shifts shaping the indoor amusement ecosystem, including evolving consumer participation trends, emerging format diversity, and the operational dynamics of modern Indoor Amusement Centres. It also addresses critical industry pillars such as safety frameworks, compliance standardization, regulatory alignment, and the need for domestic manufacturing incentives to strengthen the sector’s supply chain.
Speaking about the initiative, Ankur Maheshwari, Chairman of IAAPI, highlighted the association’s long-standing role in advancing India’s amusement landscape. He noted that with the Indian amusement market now valued at approximately ₹15,000 crore, Indoor Amusement Centres have emerged as anchor attractions within the country’s out-of-home entertainment economy.
According to IAAPI, the white paper is designed to serve as a catalyst for strategic dialogue and policy advocacy. By presenting credible data, industry insights, and forward-looking recommendations, the report seeks to help build a safer, more innovative, and globally competitive indoor amusement ecosystem in India.
The unveiling at IAC Connect is expected to draw key stakeholders from across the amusement, retail, real estate, and entertainment sectors, positioning the white paper as a defining moment for the future of India’s Indoor Amusement Centre industry.
