BJD Will Continue to Serve People of Odisha for Next 100 Years: Naveen Patnaik
Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Friday asserted that the regional party will continue to serve the people of Odisha for the next 100 years, reaffirming his confidence in the organisation’s ideology and grassroots strength.
Addressing party leaders and workers on the occasion of the 29th Foundation Day of the BJD, Patnaik recalled that the party was formed on December 26, 1997, and was named after legendary leader and former Odisha chief minister Biju Patnaik, his father.
Patnaik urged party members to remain patient and dedicated, asking them to continue working selflessly for the welfare of the people. He emphasised that public service and commitment to Odisha’s development have been the guiding principles of the BJD since its inception.
The BJD supremo also highlighted the party’s journey over nearly three decades, crediting party workers for strengthening its connect with the masses and carrying forward the legacy of Biju Patnaik.
