Oizom AQBot PM aids BMC compliance

Oizom’s AQBot PM helps builders meet BMC’s air quality monitoring mandate

Environmental technology company Oizom announced that its AQBot PM, a BMC-approved air quality monitoring device, is enabling construction contractors across Mumbai to comply with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) new air quality mandate for construction sites.

With growing concerns over dust pollution in urban areas, the BMC has made it mandatory for all construction projects in Mumbai to install sensor-based air quality monitors and real-time LED display boards to track and disclose particulate matter (PM) levels at the site.

Oizom’s AQBot PM — a compact, smart device designed for continuous real-time dust and particulate monitoring — has emerged as a trusted solution, already being used by over 100 construction companies to automate compliance and ensure transparency in emissions management.

The system provides instant alerts and data analytics, helping contractors take corrective measures to reduce dust levels and maintain safe working conditions. “AQBot PM simplifies BMC’s mandate by offering automated monitoring, cloud-based data storage, and instant visualization of air quality parameters,” the company said in a statement.

Built to function efficiently in rugged construction environments, the AQBot PM integrates with on-site LED displays, enabling the public and authorities to view live air quality readings. The solution also supports data sharing with regulatory dashboards, aiding better environmental governance.

Founded in Ahmedabad, Oizom specializes in IoT-based air quality monitoring systems deployed across industries and cities globally. The company’s latest initiative aligns with India’s growing push for sustainable infrastructure and smart city development.
