Sara Ali Khan Calls ‘Metro… In Dino’ a Surreal Experience, Honoured to Work with Anurag Basu

Actor Sara Ali Khan expressed her excitement and gratitude for being part of the upcoming anthology film Metro… In Dino, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Basu. Calling it a “surreal experience”, the young star said she grew up watching Basu’s films and feels honoured to collaborate with him on this special project.

A spiritual successor to Basu’s 2007 critically-acclaimed film Life in a… Metro, the upcoming movie weaves together four contemporary love stories, exploring modern-day relationships.

Sharing her thoughts, Sara said, “I’ve never felt less pressure for a project, but with Metro… In Dino, I knew the responsibility would be shared by everyone involved. It’s a collective effort and that’s what makes it so special.”

The anthology also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Neena Gupta. The film aims to portray the complexities of love and connection in today’s fast-paced world, set against an urban backdrop.

Produced by T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, Metro… In Dino is one of the most anticipated films of the year and is expected to resonate with audiences across generations.
