Truecaller Sets New Benchmark with Record Growth in Paid Subscriptions

Truecaller, the leading global caller ID and spam-blocking platform, has achieved a significant milestone in its growth trajectory, crossing three million paid subscribers as of May 17, 2025. This includes a remarkable surge in iOS users, which alone surpassed the one million mark by May 27, 2025.

According to official figures, as of March 31, 2025, Truecaller had 2.86 million paying users in total, including 0.86 million iOS subscribers. In comparison, the numbers stood at 2.72 million total and 0.82 million on iOS at the end of December 2024. This reflects a robust growth rate of approximately 16% in iOS subscriptions in just two months.

This accelerated growth is attributed to recent enhancements in the app’s iOS version, including the integration of AI-led features that enrich user experience and privacy. These upgrades have helped Truecaller reposition itself from a simple utility tool to a premium identity layer in mobile communication.
