43 Students Return to Odisha from Jammu Amid India-Pakistan Tensions
A group of 43 students from Odisha, who were studying at the Central Sanskrit University in Jammu, have safely returned to their homes following the recent India-Pakistan conflict.
An official confirmed that the students were asked to vacate their hostels due to the escalating tensions between the two countries. The students were initially brought to Delhi, from where they traveled back to Odisha by train.
The return of these students comes amid heightened security concerns and travel restrictions in conflict-affected areas. The authorities have ensured their safe transit, with all necessary precautions taken during their journey.
The students, who had been staying in Jammu for their studies, expressed relief upon reaching home, and families were seen welcoming them at various stations in Odisha.
This marks the latest development in a series of evacuations as the volatile situation has prompted the government to prioritize the safety and well-being of its citizens, especially students in conflict zones.
