Sonu Nigam Dismisses Reports of Stone-Throwing Incident at DTU Concert

Renowned singer Sonu Nigam has strongly refuted media reports claiming that stones and bottles were hurled at him during his recent concert at Delhi Technological University’s (DTU) Engifest 2025. The veteran singer clarified that no such incident took place during his performance.

The 51-year-old playback singer, known for hit songs like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Suraj Hua Maddham, and Soniyo, performed at the prestigious college festival on Sunday. Following the event, several media outlets reported that objects were thrown at the stage, allegedly disrupting the concert.

However, taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Nigam slammed these reports as false, stating, “Nothing like that happened.” His post aimed to set the record straight and assure fans that the concert went smoothly.

The singer’s clarification comes amid growing concerns over artist safety at live events. Fans and followers have since expressed relief and support for Nigam, urging media outlets to verify facts before publishing such claims.

For now, Sonu Nigam continues to focus on his upcoming projects, dismissing the controversy as baseless.
