Volkswagen India Slashes Prices by Up to ₹3.27 Lakh After GST Rate Cut

Automaker Volkswagen India on Wednesday announced a major price reduction across its entire product range, passing on the full benefit of the recent GST rate cut to customers. The new prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025, the company said in a statement.

The biggest cut will be on the SUV Tiguan R-Line, which will now be cheaper by up to ₹3,26,900.

Among other models, the popular compact SUV Taigun will see a price drop of up to ₹68,400, while the sedan Virtus will be cheaper by up to ₹66,900.

Volkswagen said the move reflects its commitment to ensuring customers directly benefit from regulatory changes.
