Vice-President to Embark on Three-Day Visit to Tamil Nadu from April 2
The Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, accompanied by Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, will embark on a three-day official visit to Tamil Nadu starting April 25, 2025. The visit includes key engagements in Ooty and Coimbatore, reflecting the Vice-President’s continued emphasis on education, culture, and community outreach.
On April 25, Shri Dhankhar will preside as the Chief Guest at the Annual Conference of Vice-Chancellors in Ooty. The event will bring together academic leaders from across the country to deliberate on strengthening higher education and institutional excellence in India.
Continuing his engagements, the Vice-President will visit the historic Muthanad Mund Toda Temple in Ooty on April 26. The visit highlights the government’s recognition of India’s indigenous communities and cultural heritage.
The Vice-President will conclude his visit by addressing students and faculty at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore on April 27. His speech is expected to inspire the academic community and underline the importance of agricultural innovation in ensuring food security and rural development.
