Vettori Urges SRH Improvement, No Panic

SRH Coach Vettori Calls for All-Round Improvement After Fourth Straight Loss

Following Sunrisers Hyderabad’s fourth consecutive defeat in the ongoing IPL season, head coach Daniel Vettori has emphasized the need for significant improvement across all departments — batting, bowling, and fielding — to get their campaign back on track.

Speaking after the loss, Vettori acknowledged that the team’s performance has been below par in every aspect of the game. “We haven’t clicked in any of the three departments. That has to change if we want to stop this losing streak,” he said.

Despite the mounting pressure, the former New Zealand captain isn’t hitting the panic button just yet. “We’re not panicking. It’s a long tournament. We just need to find our rhythm and execute better,” Vettori added.

SRH, who reached the IPL final last season with a bold and aggressive style of play, have struggled to replicate that form this year. Their top order — Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan — has failed to provide consistency, leading to frequent batting collapses.

With several matches still to go, SRH will look to regroup quickly and rediscover the form that made them one of the most feared sides in the previous edition of the tournament.
