New Delhi, Dec 27 : Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated his 60th birthday on Saturday with a grand yet private gathering at his Panvel farmhouse, attended by close friends and family members.
Before the celebrations began, the actor made a special gesture towards the media by cutting his birthday cake with paparazzi, setting a cheerful tone for the day. Videos circulating on social media showed Salman cutting a red-and-white cake as photographers sang the ‘Happy Birthday’ song, with the actor warmly offering cake slices and posing for pictures.
Several prominent guests were spotted at the celebration, including his father Salim Khan and actress Huma Qureshi. As the clock struck midnight, Salman briefly stepped out under tight security to acknowledge the media, expressing his appreciation for photographers who have followed his journey over the years.
In one of the widely shared clips, the actor is seen hugging a member of the press and kissing his forehead, laughing and interacting in a jovial mood. Salman kept his look simple and casual for the occasion, wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and sporting a clean-shaven appearance.
On the professional front, Salman Khan was last seen in Sikandar, which underperformed at the box office. He also made a cameo appearance in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut web series The Bads of Bollywood* and recently hosted Bigg Boss 19.
The superstar will next be seen in Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangda Singh. The film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops and depicts the rare hand-to-hand combat fought with sticks and stones instead of firearms.
