Salman clears Arijit rift, mocks Murugadoss

Salman Khan addresses Arijit Singh rift, takes swipe at AR Murugadoss on ‘Bigg Boss’

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has finally broken his silence on his long-rumoured rift with singer Arijit Singh during a recent episode of Bigg Boss. The actor, known for his candid remarks, also took a subtle dig at filmmaker AR Murugadoss while discussing his recent film Sikandar, which underperformed at the box office.

Speaking on the show, Salman clarified that his differences with Arijit were a thing of the past. “Arijit and I are very good friends. That misunderstanding had happened from my side. After that, he even sang songs for me — he sang in Tiger 3 and now he’s doing one in Galwan,” the Dabangg star said.

The rumours of a fallout between the two date back to 2014, when Salman had reportedly made a remark about Arijit looking tired during an award function. Arijit had playfully responded, saying he was “bored” by the actor — a comment that allegedly did not sit well with Salman, sparking years of speculation about a rift.

Meanwhile, Salman also took a light-hearted jab at director AR Murugadoss, whose recent release Sikandar failed to impress audiences. “When a film doesn’t work, people start looking for someone to blame — sometimes even the star. But maybe it’s not always the actor’s fault,” Salman quipped, drawing laughter from the contestants and audience.

The actor’s remarks have since gone viral, with fans praising him for addressing the long-standing rumours with grace and humour.

Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan, continues to dominate television ratings, with the latest season offering a mix of high drama, celebrity revelations, and candid moments from the star host himself.
