Saatvik Green Energy Unveils ₹3,150 Crore Investment for Odisha Solar Manufacturing Facility

Saatvik Green Energy has announced a capital expenditure plan of ₹3,150 crore for the development of its upcoming solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Odisha.

Speaking to PTI, Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy, said the investment is part of the company’s long-term strategy to expand its production capacity and strengthen its position in India’s rapidly growing solar manufacturing sector.

“The investment is aimed at expanding production capacity to help the company maintain its current market share amid rapid industry expansion and to further consolidate its position in India’s solar manufacturing landscape,” Mathur said.

The proposed Odisha facility will focus on producing high-efficiency solar cells and modules, supporting India’s ambition to achieve energy self-reliance and transition towards renewable energy sources. Saatvik Green Energy, a leading domestic solar manufacturer, has been scaling up operations across the country to meet rising demand for solar components driven by government incentives and the surge in clean energy adoption.

The Odisha project is expected to create significant employment opportunities and boost local manufacturing capabilities, aligning with the state and central government’s vision of fostering a sustainable industrial ecosystem.
