Ravi Udyawar Gets Bhansali’s Creative Freedom

Ravi Udyawar Credits Bhansali for Creative Freedom on New Film

Director Ravi Udyawar said filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is backing his upcoming movie Do Deewane Seher Mein, gave him complete trust and full creative autonomy to tell the story his way.

Udyawar, who made his directorial debut with the 2017 crime thriller Mom — the final film of Sridevi — and later directed the action film Yudhra starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, said he was encouraged by Bhansali’s advice to handle the story honestly.

He added that Bhansali was pleased with how the romance-drama brought the characters of Shashank and Roshni to life, with compelling performances by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur. Udyawar emphasized the importance of telling stories sincerely, noting that the director-producer collaboration allowed him to maintain his creative vision without compromise.
