Film Shoots Resume in Delhi as Pollution Levels Drop

Film production is returning to the national capital as easing pollution levels allow outdoor shoots, officials said. The city’s tourism department received five applications for filming in January and February, after none were submitted in December when air quality reached “severe” levels.

The applications were processed under the Delhi Film Policy, with one project already underway, an official told PTI. Among the approved shoots is the film Naagzilla, starring Kartik Aaryan and Shreelila.

Naagzilla has received permission to shoot at key locations, including Connaught Place, parts of the Delhi Metro Blue Line, Paharganj, and stretches near Laxmi Nagar. The return of film shoots marks a positive sign for the city’s creative and tourism sectors as winter pollution recedes.
