Ramco Cements Q2 Net Profit Triples to ₹78 Crore on Higher Revenue

The Ramco Cements Ltd on Wednesday reported a sharp three-fold rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹77.88 crore for the September quarter (Q2 FY26), driven by improved sales and operational efficiencies.

The Chennai-based cement maker had posted a net profit of ₹25.77 crore in the same quarter last year, according to its regulatory filing.

The company’s revenue from operations increased by 9.52% to ₹2,238.74 crore, compared to ₹2,044.13 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Industry analysts attributed the strong performance to steady demand recovery in the infrastructure and housing sectors, along with better price realisations and cost management.
