PV Sindhu Advances to China Masters Quarterfinals

Star Indian shuttler P V Sindhu stormed into the quarterfinals of the China Masters badminton tournament with a convincing straight-game victory over sixth seed Pornpawee Chochuwong of Thailand on Thursday.

The double Olympic medallist dispatched her opponent 21-15, 21-15 in just 41 minutes, showcasing her superior technique and composure on court.

With this win, Sindhu, currently ranked 14th in the world, improved her head-to-head record against the Thai shuttler to 6-5, further asserting her dominance in their previous encounters.

Sindhu will now look ahead to her quarterfinal clash, aiming to maintain her winning momentum and contend for the title at the prestigious BWF tournament.
