The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, enthusiastically participated in the annual Rath Yatra festival held today in the sacred city of Puri, Odisha.

Accompanied by thousands of devoted followers, President Murmu joined in the ceremonial pulling of the three grand chariots carrying Bhagwan Balabhadra, Mata Subhadra, and Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannathji. Expressing her profound spiritual experience, President Murmu shared on X, “Jai Jagannath! It was a deeply divine experience to witness the pulling of the three chariots during the Rath Yatra in Puri today.”

President Murmu emphasized the spiritual significance of the event, noting, “I felt one with the mass of devotees that thronged this holy place. For me, it was one of those blessed moments that make us aware of the presence of the Supreme Being.”
