PM’s Five-State Tour Reflects India’s Rapid Progress: Odisha CM Majhi

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming five-state visit, calling it “a testament to the scale and speed of progress across the nation.”

The Prime Minister is scheduled to tour Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development projects worth ₹71,850 crore.

Majhi said the tour reflects how India is “emerging as a global leader while ensuring inclusive development.”

The CM added that the large-scale projects highlight the Centre’s commitment to accelerating growth and delivering infrastructure that touches lives across diverse regions of the country.
