Paris Olympics: 49 Indian Athletes Arrive at Games Village

A total of 49 Indian athletes have arrived at the Games Village, marking a significant milestone as the Paris Olympics prepare to kick off on July 26. The arriving contingent includes members from various disciplines, highlighting India’s diverse representation in the Games.
Among the athletes who have reached Paris are the entire archery team, the table tennis squad, and the Indian men’s hockey team. A notable group of 39 athletes, including the eight-member table tennis team and the 19-member hockey team, has arrived in the French capital. Additionally, 10 shooters out of the 21 who qualified for the Olympics have reached Chateauroux, where the shooting events will take place.
The archery team, consisting of six members, has also arrived, alongside two tennis players, a badminton shuttler, a rower, and two swimmers. The diverse group of athletes reflects India’s broad representation across various sports disciplines.
