Odisha Matriculation Examination Begins with Over 5.22 Lakh Students

The Matriculation (Class 10) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, commenced on Friday, with more than 5.22 lakh students appearing for the test across the state.
The exams are being conducted at 3,133 examination centres from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and will continue till March 6. Stringent security measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended his best wishes to all the candidates appearing for the crucial examination. “I wish all students the very best for their exams. May they perform well and achieve success,” he said in a statement.
The BSE has made necessary arrangements, including CCTV surveillance and special squads, to curb malpractices during the examination. Additionally, strict guidelines have been issued to the examination centres to ensure a hassle-free process.
Parents and teachers have also expressed their hopes for students to excel in the exams, which play a significant role in shaping their academic and professional futures.
