Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati unfurled the national flag during the state-level Republic Day celebrations held at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. The event marked the 76th Republic Day and showcased a vibrant display of patriotism and cultural heritage.

Governor Kambhampati took the ceremonial salute from 43 contingents, including Odisha Police, BSF, OSAP, and CRPF, in the presence of Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja and other dignitaries. Addressing the occasion, the Governor’s office encouraged citizens to “celebrate the spirit of our nation and the pride of our constitution” through a post on X.

The parade featured 12 themed tableaus highlighting Odisha’s rich cultural heritage, progressive initiatives, and achievements. The event also included captivating cultural performances, adding colour and fervour to the celebrations.

The Mahatma Gandhi Marg was adorned with patriotic enthusiasm as Odisha came together to commemorate the nation’s 76th Republic Day with grandeur and pride.
