Odisha Declares School Holiday in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack on June 20 for PM Modi’s Visit

The Odisha government has announced a holiday for all schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on June 20 in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to the state capital.

According to an official notification issued by the School and Mass Education Department, the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure smooth traffic movement and security arrangements during the Prime Minister’s visit.

PM Modi is expected to arrive in Bhubaneswar on the afternoon of June 20 to participate in an event commemorating the first anniversary of the BJP-led government in Odisha. The high-profile visit is likely to draw significant public and political attention, with large gatherings and a strong security presence anticipated across the twin cities.
