Odisha CM Meets President, Vice President, and Union Finance Minister in New Delhi
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi had a series of high-profile meetings in New Delhi on Thursday, engaging with President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
During his visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan, Chief Minister Majhi expressed his admiration and pride in President Murmu, highlighting her as a distinguished figure from Odisha. “Today, I had the privilege of meeting the Honorable President and pride of Odisha soil, Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. The whole of India and our state feel proud to have you as the President,” Majhi posted on X.
Following his meeting with President Murmu, Majhi also had a significant discussion with Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, focusing on various developmental issues concerning Odisha.
The Chief Minister’s itinerary included a crucial meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Majhi conveyed his gratitude for her unwavering support and guidance, which he believes are instrumental in fostering financial stability and prosperity for Odisha. He expressed his hope for continued cooperation and assistance from the Union Finance Ministry to further enhance the state’s economic growth and development.
