Odisha CM Launches Third Phase of Financial Aid Under ‘Subhadra Yojana’

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday initiated the disbursement of funds to 20 lakh women under the state’s flagship financial assistance scheme, Subhadra Yojana.
The scheme, which aims to empower women financially, was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17. In the third phase of disbursement, women beneficiaries received financial aid of ₹5,000 each.
Addressing the gathering at Sundergarh district, Majhi highlighted the scheme’s success, stating that it has already benefited 80 lakh women in its earlier phases. He reiterated the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment and inclusive growth in the state.
The Subhadra Yojana continues to play a crucial role in supporting women and fostering socio-economic development across Odisha.
