Gold Snaps 3-Day Losing Streak, Rises Rs 600 to Rs 1.586 Lakh per 10 Gram

Gold prices snapped a three-session losing streak on Thursday, rising Rs 600 per 10 grams in the national capital amid fresh buying by retailers and stockists.

According to the All India Sarafa Association, gold of 99.9 per cent purity climbed to Rs 1,58,600 per 10 grams, compared with Rs 1,58,000 per 10 grams in the previous session.

Silver continued its upward momentum for the third consecutive session. The precious metal gained Rs 1,200 per kilogram, rising to Rs 2,44,600 per kg, including all applicable taxes, from Wednesday's closing price of Rs 2,43,400 per kg.

The recovery in gold prices was supported by renewed demand from retailers and stockists in the domestic market. The rise in silver prices further extended its recent rally.

The precious metals market continues to attract attention as investors and traders monitor domestic demand, global market trends and broader economic developments.
