PM Modi Urges Record Voting in Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday appealed to voters in West Bengal to turn out in “record numbers” during the second and final phase of polling.

In his message, Modi specifically encouraged women and young voters to actively participate in the democratic process and exercise their franchise.

Polling is currently underway across 142 constituencies in the state, marking a crucial phase of the electoral exercise. Authorities have put in place necessary arrangements to ensure smooth and peaceful voting.

The Prime Minister’s appeal comes as political parties look to maximise voter turnout in what is seen as a significant electoral contest in the state.
