MAHE Health Sciences Research Day 2024 Inaugurated, Inspire Junior Program Introduced

MANIPAL (NewsVoir): The MAHE Health Sciences Research Day 2024 commenced today with the inauguration ceremony led by Dr. H.S. Ballal, Pro-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), at the Interact KMC Lecture Halls. The event marked the introduction of five significant initiatives, including the Inspire Junior Program, Inspire Learner, Inspire Professional, Collaborate Health Research Expo, and Enrich Access to Research Resources. More than 5000 students from Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts participated in this event.
The Inspire Junior Program, designed for students in grades eight through twelve, offers guided tours of various laboratories. These tours showcase specimens, instruments, exhibits, and experiments across various health sciences disciplines. The program aims to cultivate a scientific mindset among students and inspire them to pursue careers in these fields.
“The MAHE Health Sciences Research Day serves as a platform to ignite curiosity and passion for research among young minds,” stated Dr. H.S. Ballal during the inauguration. “The Inspire Junior Program, in particular, is a crucial step towards nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals and researchers.”
