Season two of ‘Kohrra’ to premiere on Netflix February 11
Netflix on Tuesday announced that the second season of its hit police procedural series “Kohrra” will debut on February 11, promising a new gripping investigation set against the stark, wintry backdrop of Punjab.
Following the critically acclaimed first season, which earned praise for its layered, character-driven storytelling, the upcoming instalment will once again explore crime, silence and hidden truths in the region’s tense social landscape.
Actor Barun Sobti will reprise his role as Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi, while Mona Singh joins the cast in a key new role, adding fresh intrigue to the narrative, the streaming platform said in a press release.
The first season of Kohrra was widely appreciated for its atmospheric treatment, strong performances and realistic portrayal of police work, establishing the series as one of Netflix India’s standout thrillers.
With a new mystery and expanded cast, season two is expected to continue the show’s tradition of intense storytelling when it premieres next month.
