Bhubaneswar to Host Three-Day Matsya Prani Samavesh

Odisha will host the three-day ‘Matsya Prani Samavesh Odisha 2026’ from January 21 at Janata Maidan, officials said on Monday.

Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Minister Gokulananda Mallik stated that Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will inaugurate the event, while Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati is slated to attend the closing ceremony.

The convention is expected to see participation from over 8,000 farmers, along with numerous scientists and experts in fisheries and animal resources, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, innovations, and discussions on sustainable practices in the sector.
