Infosys to expand Mohali Development Centre with new 3,000-seat campus

Infosys on Thursday announced the expansion of its Development Centre in Mohali with the construction of a new integrated campus spread across 350,000 square feet, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in northern India.

The upcoming campus will have the capacity to accommodate around 3,000 employees and is expected to enhance the company’s delivery capabilities, innovation ecosystem and talent development initiatives in the region.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility was attended by Bhagwant Singh Mann, Chief Minister of Punjab, and state Cabinet Minister for Investment Promotion, Power and Local Government Sanjeev Arora. They were joined by Jayesh Sanghrajka, Chief Financial Officer of Infosys, along with other senior officials.

The expansion is expected to generate employment opportunities while further strengthening Punjab’s position as an emerging technology and innovation hub. The new facility will support Infosys’ continued growth and its focus on delivering advanced digital services to global clients.

State government officials said the project reflects growing investor confidence in Punjab and aligns with the government’s efforts to attract technology investments and create high-quality jobs in the state.
