‘Dhurandhar 2’ will terrify audiences, says Ram Gopal Varma

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has heightened anticipation for Dhurandhar 2 by stating that the upcoming sequel will “terrify” audiences. Varma shared his views in a note posted on social media on Monday, praising the vision of director Aditya Dhar and hinting at a darker, more intense cinematic experience in the second instalment.

The first part of Dhurandhar, which released on December 5, has emerged as a massive box-office success, crossing the Rs 1,000 crore mark in worldwide collections. The film, led by Ranveer Singh, featured a strong ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, R Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi, and was widely appreciated for its scale, performances and gripping narrative.

According to Varma, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to push the boundaries further, amplifying the intensity and impact of the story. While he did not reveal plot details, his remarks have added to the growing buzz surrounding the sequel.

The makers have announced that Dhurandhar 2 is slated for release on March 19. With expectations already running high after the phenomenal success of the first film, the sequel is being closely watched by both audiences and trade analysts.
