Chawla, Gupta Storm into Knockouts at Asian 6-Red Snooker Championship
Reigning IBSF champion Kamal Chawla delivered a dominant performance to secure a spot in the pre-quarterfinals of the Asian 6-Red Snooker Championship, finishing with an unbeaten record in the group stage.

Chawla wrapped up his Group ‘C’ campaign in style, blanking Hong Kong’s Ming Wa Man 4-0 in his third and final match. The Indian cueist maintained his fine form, having earlier defeated Sri Lanka’s Thiyagarajah Thanjeewan with the same 4-0 margin in a late-night clash on Sunday.

Joining Chawla in the knockout rounds is fellow Indian player Digvijay Kadian Gupta, who also impressed with his consistent play through the group stages.

With both Indian players advancing confidently, the focus now shifts to the high-stakes pre-quarterfinals, where they will look to continue their strong title push.
