A special CBI court in Bhubaneswar has granted conditional bail to three individuals arrested in a bribery case involving the CPSU Bridge and Roof Company (India) Limited.

The court on Wednesday approved bail for Chanchal Mukherjee, Group General Manager of the CPSU, along with contractors Santosh Moharana and Debadutta Mohapatra.

The bail was granted upon submission of a ₹1 lakh bond and two sureties each, according to advocate Subham Satpathy, representing the accused.

The accused were arrested earlier for their alleged involvement in corruption, prompting the Central Bureau of Investigation to initiate a probe into the matter. Further investigations are underway.
