Vikramaditya Motwane’s latest series, “Black Warrant,” is set to premiere on Netflix from January 10, 2025. Featuring Zahan Kapoor, grandson of late cinema icon Shashi Kapoor, in his series debut, the prison drama is inspired by true events. Based on the book “Black Warrant: Confessions Of A Tihar Jailer” by author Sunil Gupta and journalist Sunetra Choudhury, the show promises a gripping narrative.

Motwane, known for his work on Netflix’s “Sacred Games,” co-created the series with Satyanshu Singh, who also serves as a co-director alongside Ambiecka Pandit, Arkesh Ajay, and Rohin Raveendran Nair.
