BBBS, Foresight Awarded $5 Million for Rugged Autonomous Drone Project

Big Bang Boom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (BBBS), a leading Indian DeepTech startup, has secured formal approval for a $5 million joint research, development, and commercialization project with Israel-based Foresight Autonomous Holdings Ltd. (Nasdaq, TASE: FRSX).

The collaboration, funded under the India-Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Fund (I4F), aims to develop rugged autonomous drones tailored for GPS-denied and hazardous industrial environments.

The I4F initiative is jointly run by India’s Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Israel Innovation Authority. It supports innovation across key sectors including healthcare, energy, water, agriculture, and industrial technologies.

According to BBBS, the upcoming drones will be engineered to perform in environments where conventional systems fail, offering enhanced safety, efficiency, and reliability for industries operating in extreme conditions.

The partnership combines BBBS’s expertise in indigenous defense and industrial tech solutions with Foresight’s advanced vision systems, setting the stage for a product that could see global demand in sectors such as mining, oil & gas, and disaster management.
