Bangladeshi MP Murder Mystery: Bangladesh Police Team Seeks Accomplice in Nepal

A police team from Bangladesh has embarked on a search operation in Nepal, aiming to locate one of the accomplices of the prime suspect in the murder case of Bangladeshi MP Anwarul Azim Anar, revealed a source in the West Bengal CID on Sunday.

The team’s pursuit is focused on a suspected accomplice of the main suspect involved in the heinous crime. Cooperation between the Bangladesh and Nepal police authorities has been established, with the Nepal Police pledging full support to the visiting team.

Anar’s murder, which shocked the nation, occurred in a luxurious flat situated in the New Town area near Kolkata. According to police reports, one of the arrested individuals, identified as a butcher by profession, purportedly dismembered the body of the Bangladeshi lawmaker into 80 pieces and treated them with turmeric before disposing of them at various locations, including a canal in New Town.

The collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies across borders reflect the seriousness with which the investigation into the high-profile murder case is being pursued.
