Australia Supports Para-Swimming Workshop Delhi

A three-day para-swimming coaching workshop, supported by the Australian High Commission, was inaugurated in Delhi on Monday to promote the growth and development of Indian para-swimming.
The workshop is being held at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Complex, where para-swimming experts and coaches are coming together to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and discuss strategies to elevate the sport in India.
In addition to Delhi, the three-day program will also take place at the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education in Gwalior, providing further opportunities for coaches and athletes to collaborate and enhance their skills.
Officials said the initiative aims to strengthen India’s para-swimming ecosystem, improve training methodologies, and empower athletes with the necessary guidance to compete at higher levels internationally.
The Australian High Commission’s support highlights the ongoing collaboration between India and Australia in promoting sports development and inclusivity for differently-abled athletes.
