Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar to Lead Thriller ‘Bhagwat’ on ZEE5

Mumbai, Sep 27 : Acclaimed actors Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar are set to headline the upcoming crime thriller “Bhagwat,” produced by Jio Studios in association with Baweja Studios and *Dog ’n’ Bone Pictures. The film, inspired by true events, will stream exclusively on ZEE5.

ZEE5 unveiled the first-look poster of the film on Friday, writing: “And we thought all the plot twists of 2025 were over, but the biggest one is here… Bhagwat is coming to blow your mind. Inspired by true events. #Bhagwat coming soon, only on #ZEE5 #BhagwatOnZEE5.”

The narrative revolves around Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat, played by Arshad Warsi, who begins investigating a seemingly routine case of a woman’s disappearance. The probe quickly unravels into a dark maze of deceit, hidden secrets, and human trafficking networks.

Parallel to the suspenseful investigation, the film introduces a tender romance between Meera and Professor Sameer (played by Jitendra Kumar), weaving emotional depth and contrast into the high-stakes drama.

Directed by Akshay Shere, “Bhagwat” promises a gripping storyline, a haunting backdrop set in Robertsganj, Uttar Pradesh, and a compelling clash of performance between its lead actors.
