Apple Reduces iPhone Prices by Up to Rs 6,000 in India

Apple has announced a significant price reduction for its iPhones in India, with discounts ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 6,000. This move follows the Indian government’s recent decision to lower import duties on mobile phones.

The revised pricing, detailed in the latest rate list issued by Apple, reflects a substantial decrease for the iPhone Pro models. Specifically, the price of the imported iPhone 15 Pro has been reduced by Rs 5,100, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max now costs Rs 6,000 less.

Prior to this adjustment, the iPhone 15 Pro was priced starting at Rs 1,34,900, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max began at Rs 1,59,900. The new prices make these high-end models more accessible to consumers in India, following the government’s initiative to lower the financial burden on imported electronics.

This price cut is expected to boost sales and enhance the appeal of Apple’s flagship smartphones in the Indian market, aligning with broader efforts to support local consumers and adapt to changes in import regulations.
