Vaishnaw Allocates Rs 70 Crore for Rayagada Railway Division

The Railway Ministry has earmarked Rs 70 crore for the Rayagada Railway Division in Odisha, a decision announced on Friday. This allocation falls under the East Coast Railway Zone and is set to bring substantial improvements to the region.

The establishment of the Rayagada Railway Division is expected to significantly enhance regional connectivity and stimulate economic growth. The investment will support infrastructure development and operational improvements, benefiting both local communities and businesses.

The funding decision was communicated to Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi during his meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi. Majhi expressed appreciation for the allocation, highlighting its potential to positively impact the region’s transportation network and economic prospects.

This initiative aligns with broader efforts to bolster railway infrastructure across India, aiming to improve efficiency, connectivity, and economic development in underserved areas.
