Aluminium Futures Slip Marginally on Weak Demand
Aluminium prices saw a slight decline on Thursday, with futures dropping by ₹1.05 to ₹238.90 per kilogram as market participants reduced their positions due to a weak trend in the spot market.
Data from the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) indicates that aluminium contracts for January delivery fell by 0.44%, trading at ₹238.90 per kg across 2,530 lots.
Market analysts attributed the dip to reduced demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to cut down positions.
Such trends reflect a broader market sentiment driven by easing demand and fluctuating industrial activity.
