Alia Bhatt Honoured with Golden Globes Horizon Award at Red Sea Film Festival

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has received the prestigious Golden Globes Horizon Award at the fifth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Bhatt, known for acclaimed performances in films such as Raazi, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and the Hollywood action film Heart of Stone, was recognised for her contributions to global cinema.

At the ceremony, Tunisian actor Hend Sabry was also felicitated with the Omar Sharif Award.

Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne praised Sabry’s achievements, stating, “We are honoured to present the Omar Sharif Award to Hend Sabry, a truly iconic performer and humanitarian whose body of work reflects the depth, power, and global impact of Arab cinema, while paying tribute to Omar’s remarkable legacy as a pioneering Egyptian artist.”

Bhatt’s honour further cements her growing international presence as she continues to gain recognition on the global stage.
