Air Force Academy Hosts Spectacular Combined Graduation Parade

The Air Force Academy (AFA) witnessed a grand spectacle today as 235 flight cadets, including 22 women officers, graduated from various branches of the Indian Air Force (IAF) during the Combined Graduation Parade (CGP). Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff, presided over the ceremony as the Reviewing Officer, conferring the prestigious President’s Commission to the graduating officers.
The ceremony was marked by impeccable drill movements, synchronized fly-pasts, and the commissioning of officers from the National Defence Academy into Ground Duty branches for the first time. Flying Officer Happy Singh and Flying Officer Taufeeq Raza were honored with top accolades for their exceptional performance.
Addressing the cadets, Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari emphasized the importance of upskilling and adapting to modern warfare dynamics, urging them to uphold the core values of the IAF: Mission, Integrity, and Excellence. The parade culminated with an emotional march-out and impressive aerial displays by SU-30 MKI and the Sarang and Surya Kiran Aerobatic Teams.
The event concluded with newly commissioned officers receiving their first salute, a poignant moment for them and their families.
