SVU-Supported Startup ACS Energy Raises ₹1.1 Crore in Pre-Seed Funding

ACS Energy, a campus-born EV charging startup founded by alumni of K J Somaiya School of Engineering, Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU), has raised ₹1.1 Crore in pre-seed funding from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

Backed by riidl, the innovation and incubation center of SVU, ACS Energy focuses on providing sustainable and efficient electric vehicle charging solutions. The startup, co-founded by Mihir Bhanushali and Jash Sheth, aims to address the growing demand for EV infrastructure in India.

The funding will be utilised to expand operations, scale the technology, and enhance product offerings, enabling ACS Energy to strengthen its presence in the electric mobility ecosystem. The investment highlights investor confidence in the potential of campus-born startups in driving innovation in the EV sector.

ACS Energy’s early success reflects the increasing focus on clean mobility solutions and the rising interest of investors in sustainable technology ventures in India.
