Fire Erupts at Hindalco’s New York Plant, No Injuries Reported

A fire broke out at Hindalco Industries’ plant in Oswego, New York, the company said on Friday, adding that no injuries were reported.

The plant, operated by Hindalco’s US subsidiary Novelis, has experienced a similar incident earlier, making this the second fire at the facility in just over two months.

Hindalco confirmed that emergency protocols were promptly activated, and the situation is under control. The company is investigating the cause of the fire to prevent future occurrences.
