Italian Electric Two-Wheeler Brand VLF Partners with KAW Veloce Motors to Enter Indian Market

VLF, the renowned Italian electric two-wheeler brand, has officially announced its entry into the burgeoning Indian electric vehicle market through a strategic partnership with KAW Veloce Motors. The collaboration aims to introduce VLF’s innovative e-scooter, named Tennis, in India by the upcoming festive season this year.
Founded by designer Alessandro Tartarini in 1993, VLF is set to establish a manufacturing facility in Kolhapur, leveraging the extensive manufacturing expertise of the KAW Group, which spans over six decades in the region. This facility will serve as a pivotal hub for producing VLF’s range of electric two-wheelers tailored for the Indian market.
According to VLF, the company plans to build a robust dealer network across India, targeting major tier 1 and tier 2 cities. By the end of 2024, VLF aims to have 15 operational dealerships to effectively reach and serve its growing customer base.
The entry of VLF into India marks a significant milestone in the country’s electric vehicle sector, highlighting the brand’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. VLF’s decision to partner with KAW Veloce Motors underscores its strategy to leverage local expertise and infrastructure to meet the demand for high-quality electric vehicles in India.
