Software Glitch Disrupts Airline Check-Ins

Airlines Face Check-In Disruptions Due to Software Glitch
Several airlines experienced check-in disruptions at multiple airports across the country on Thursday morning due to a software issue that lasted for over 40 minutes, sources said.
According to sources, carriers including IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet and Akasa Air were impacted at airports in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities.
The check-in systems were reportedly down from around 6:45 am to 7:28 am due to the software outage, leading to temporary inconvenience for passengers during peak morning travel hours.
One of the sources said the issue was promptly addressed and the systems were restored to normal operations soon after. Airline staff managed passenger flow during the disruption, and flight operations gradually stabilised once the systems resumed functioning.
There was no immediate statement from the airlines regarding the cause of the outage. Further details are awaited.
