Neeraj Chopra, Sachin Yadav in AIU’s 2026 RTP list

Indian javelin stars Neeraj Chopra and Sachin Yadav have been included in the Registered Testing Pool (RTP) of World Athletics’ anti-doping watchdog, the Athletes Integrity Unit (AIU), for the first quarter of 2026.

While two-time Olympic medallist Chopra continues to feature regularly in the RTP, Yadav earns his first inclusion following his impressive fourth-place finish at last year’s World Championships.

At the World Championships, Yadav outperformed Chopra, who finished eighth due to ongoing fitness issues. Yadav is also the silver medallist from the Asian Championships, highlighting his rising stature in Indian athletics.

The inclusion in the RTP means both athletes will be subject to regular anti-doping tests, ensuring compliance with global standards.
